It’s time to look even deeper and see how @VMware Cloud Foundation for Operations handles tracking what’s happening inside an application.

In this case, we look further inside the application thanks to Flopsar Technology’s solution, and then we pass all events to @VCF Operations, where the finished, collected elements of the application are already there: IT infrastructure, operating systems, databases, application engines, network flows, logs from each of these layers and other elements.

Once we have a full collection of its components, the costs can be automatically calculated based on the data collected in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). We can also adjust these values, taking into account actual IT expenses – from licenses, to hardware, to electricity, to racks and other resources.
